Job Responsibilities: This is a daily in- hospital position managing and working alongside a team of technicians.
Staff mentorship
Work alongside technicians and assisting with procedures, appointments, and work- ups
Personnel scheduling, interviewing, hiring and training
Developing training schedules, planning and leading staff meetings
Complete incident reports and workers compensation claims
Conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews
Oversight of controlled substance inventory and logging
Inventory and equipment management
On the floor leadership to assist with daily practice flow
Facilitates positive interactions and communications between our AVIM&O Specialists
Attend CE to expand knowledge and service as a liaison for the AVIM&O team with referring veterinarians both in the hospital and from GP community
Regularly attend leadership meetings on behalf of staff, clients, and patients
About You:
Strong sense of professionalism, accountability, and workplace pride
Leadership will set a motivating example for staff members
Embody best practices and behavior, attitude, work ethic, and communication
Prior Clinical Veterinary and Management experience is required
RVT License is preferred
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
On- Call rotation

Education & Experience
High school or equivalent (required)
Veterinary Experience - 3 years
Supervisory Experience – 3 years
Veterinary Technician Credentials preferred
