The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Elizabethtown College is seeking an Adjunct in Biology. Job Duties
Utilize the provided Bio111 syllabus to ensure consistency across lecture sections.
Maintain appropriate office hours (on campus and/or virtual) to support students.
Alert the Department Chair if a student or classroom issue(s) arise.
Become familiar with Elizabethtown College academic policies and procedures and meet specified deadlines related to attendance, Academic Progress Surveys and grade submission.
Provide an active learning environment with emphasis on diversity, inclusion and belonging.
Required Qualifications
M.S. in Biology or cognate field. Ability to offer the course on campus.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated previous teaching success with the same or similar course.
