Job Description
Project Manager Associate (PMA) will support the underwriting, organizational, and closing tasks associated with approving and funding a New Markets and Historic Tax Credit investment. The PMA will work closely with several Project Managers, other internal USB staff, and external partners to ensure timely completion of these tasks.
Tasks will include the following:
- engage insurance review consultant,
- initiate bank account opening process and send requests to internal deposit and payment solution department,
- review of investment documents including financial projections, operating agreements, loan agreements, tax opinions and indemnities,
- ensure documents are compliant with reporting requirements,
- assist with the preparation of credit memorandum,
- submit credit memorandum through the CAPE system for approval,
- draft closing worksheets and create funding packages in the Gateway system,
- review flow of funds for accuracy using the HOGAN system,
- complete the AMIS Information Form and closing letter,
- responsible for approval and closing of Qualified Equity Investments (“QEI”) and the formation and assignment of Investment Funds,
- participate in the establishment of policies and procedures necessary for accomplishing the group's tasks.
- attend industry conferences, customer site visits, training sessions and staff meetings.
Basic Qualifications
- Typically Bachelor's degree and five or more years of related experience
OR
- MBA/JD with one or more years of directly related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience- Basic knowledge of underwriting, financial analysis, risk assessment and evaluating targeted returns for lending or investments
- Some knowledge of construction finance, legal documentation review, , and accounting
- General real estate background preferred
- Some knowledge of HTC and NMTC preferred
-Familiarity with bank systems including HOGAN, CAPE, and Gateway
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $95,285.00 - $112,100.00 - $123,310.00
