Job Description
The Restaurant Ops Manager at Elevate Entertainment Group (EEG) The Restaurant Operations Manager will oversee both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness, while driving profitability and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the VP of F&B and kitchen cast members to maintain high food quality and presentation standards.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of food and supplies.
- Oversees all F&B ordering.
- Implement and enforce sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and maintain cost-effective purchasing.
- Lead and manage all FOH and BOH cast members including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain the ambiance and cleanliness of the dining and reception areas.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Skills + Abilities included but are not limited to:
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and basic financial principles.
- Lead and manage all FOH staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain the ambiance and cleanliness of the dining and reception areas.
- Develop and implement service standards, procedures, and policies to enhance the guest experience.
- Oversee reservation systems, guest flow, and seating arrangements to optimize service efficiency.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education + Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary or related field preferred.
- Lead and manage all FOH staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain the ambiance and cleanliness of the dining and reception areas.
- Develop and implement service standards, procedures, and policies to enhance the guest experience.
- Oversee reservation systems, guest flow, and seating arrangements to optimize service efficiency.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
