As the Sr. Manager, Global Product Portfolio your responsibilities will include:
Manage the product portfolio to support commercial activities and optimize profitability as well as company competitiveness
Provide detailed profitability analysis per product category and customer to provide recommendations to the business for improving profitability
Provide input to pricing guardrails globally and support geography pricing discussions to ensure profitability targets
Lead portfolio strategy development and advancement for the non-stevia Sugar Reduction portfolio (allulose, polyols, low-sugar syrups, & systems) through innovation, external partnerships, and/or M&A projects
Actively participate to product development process preparation of business case, costing, profitability analysis, demand forecast and product development, scale up
Enable network optimization opportunities and help maximize asset utilization by providing detailed analysis on best sourcing points
Drive SKU Optimization and product elimination for the geography working closely with the technical, manufacturing, and commercial teams
Participate in the geography product review and S&OP process for key products and monitor forecast with demand planning and sales
Establish visibility on attributable profit for the global business to support the decision process on allocation and trade-offs while managing the key stakeholders in relevant geographies
Manage incremental and line expansion programs on base material or differentiated product
Identify business at risk at the local level, main root cause and establish mitigation plan
Prepare market and competitive intelligence to establish Ingredion position and propose optimization strategy to counteract competitor moves

Qualified Candidates will have:
Bachelors’ Degree in food science or other relevant scientific, engineering, or business discipline. MBA is a plus.
8+ years food, chemical industry experience or B2B industries with capital intensive assets and complex supply chain
Possesses multinationals experience in supply chain, product line management or manufacturing. Ideally demonstrated experience in a product portfolio management
Relevant experience in the regional markets or product addressed is a plus
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both in creation and execution
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required. Experience in problem solving and creative thinking.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and in a variety of cultures – both internal and external.
