As a Data Privacy Project Manager you will:
Respond to Law Enforcement Requests for Customer Data • Intake and categorization of requests. Provide responses as appropriate. Escalate requests to attorneys as needed. Respond to Customer Requests for Data • Intake and categorization of requests. Provide responses as appropriate. Escalate requests to attorneys as needed. Intake New Impact Assessment Requests • Analyze business unit's requirements and help determine if an assessment is required (confirm with review team as needed). • Review new assessment requests for clarity and completeness of information. • Train users on submission process and use of the system. Work with Assessment Requester • Assessment main point of contact for intake and questions. Will shepherd assessments through the process. • If information in the assessment is not clear or complete, request additional information or clarification from the requester to update the assessment request. • Follow up with requester and assessment team as needed until request is complete. • Answer requester's questions throughout the process (process, forms, support, assessment inbox, request's status, etc.). Where appropriate, use the user guides to answer the questions and direct the requester to the user guides for future self-help. • Update user guides based on the Q&A interactions with the requesters and maintain version control. Work with Assessment Team • Schedule/facilitate weekly assessment team meetings. Prepare agenda for the meeting invite. • Publish/maintain meeting notes. • Document/track/follow up on any actions until completion. Agenda to include the review of open assessment's priorities to guide the team's effort and assessment KPI's for areas needing action. • Attend assessment team meetings to provide updates from the Privacy team, and to update the Privacy team of developments at assessment team meetings. • Debrief the assessment team of findings from requesters. • Alert assessment team on urgent or high-priority assessment requests. • Compile assessment team's questions on each assessment to present a coherent response and avoid multiple or duplicative contacts with requesters. • Schedule/facilitate meetings between assessment team and requester to discuss questions. Document the answers and fact finding. Follow Up & Close Assessment Request • Monitor age of all open assessments. Follow up with the assessment team on ones needing closure. Timely bring to assessment team's attention those assessment requests needing quick attention. • Monitor all assessment KPI's for areas needing attention. • Inform requester their assessment is approved and collect/document/maintain requester's feedback on improvement opportunities. Harness Improvement Opportunities • Develop and implement prioritization process for assessment reviews considering: o Clarity of the assessment intake form o Complexity/maturity of the request/project o Escalation process for urgent requests o Helping to manage competing priorities • Maintain/review the open assessments ranked by their priorities with the assessment team to guide the team's effort. • Develop and implement KPIs for assessment review process. Set expectation on the review process/completion timing. • Review assessment KPI reporting with assessment working & leadership team for areas needing attention. • Maintain/review list of improvement opportunities (feedback from BU's, assessment team, SLA, KPI review, etc.).
Requirements
Must have experience with privacy impact assessments (PIA) and/or data protection impact assessments (DPIA) Strong project management and organizational skills
Paralegal experience a plus
Excel skills
Good verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
