Senior Account Manager:
Leading HLG’s Client Activities at Scientific Conferences

High Lantern Group (www.highlanterngroup.com) is seeking to expand its capabilities in the life sciences by seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Account Manager. The Senior Account Manager would lead an internal team in a client-facing role to support HLG and client activities at scientific conferences.
The Senior Account Manager would 1) manage all aspects of how HLG supports its clients at scientific conferences, and 2) work very closely with HLG’s project management and client teams to refine and execute large, complex client engagements.
This role has high client visibility and leadership responsibilities within HLG. It requires exceptional organizational and planning skills. The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented, capable of managing a large portfolio of work, and connecting both strategic and operational dots between projects. Experience with life sciences and scientific congresses is strongly preferred but not required.
What you’ll do:
- Lead large, complex client conference and stakeholder engagement activities on behalf of HLG for our clients in healthcare and life sciences.
- Serve as the internal and external HLG lead for high-stakes client projects.
- Partner successfully with team members across HLG offices to execute projects from the initiating and planning phases through the closing phase.
- Provide comprehensive support to clients throughout the conference engagement process, addressing their needs and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Attend 2-4 conferences in-person per year (domestic and international), serving as the onsite lead.
- Serve as a project lead and oversee an internal team to execute strategies for successful conference engagement, including identifying target stakeholders, crafting tailored messaging, scheduling and coordinating 1:1 meetings.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance and expertise on optimizing their presence at conferences and maximizing their impact.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the client portfolio by identifying opportunities for expansion and providing strategic recommendations.
- Serve as a system administrator to execute internal requests.
- Provide consistent and timely support with recurring tasks relating to: providing schedule availability, monitoring emails, updating trackers, filing documentations, and staying on top of team reminders.
What you need:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong project and client management experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Valid Passport for international travel
- Experience developing detailed and high-stakes engagement plans
- Collaborates effectively in teams, manages stress effectively, and maintains a professional demeanor
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus

High Lantern Group provides a competitive salary, benefits and bonus package for our employees and new joiners. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for new joiners for this role is $70,000 – $90,000. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to an individual's experience and expertise.
