Work closely with the engineering team and independently to develop construction work packages including all necessary I/E project deliverables as determined by project scope and requirements\t
Identify problems and work creatively to resolve them, considering the impact on the project and internal company resources\t
Assist the project lead electrical engineer in management of document control and determining appropriate deliverables based on project scope\t
Interface with external and internal clients as required to complete project requirements.\t
Acquire field data necessary to prepare the appropriate design.\t
Effectively communicate with engineering staff and other disciplines to ensure the accurate design of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment requirements\t

Qualifications:
\t
Associates Degree, Technical School Training or the equivalent combination of education and experience\t
Autodesk AutoCAD experience \t
Experience in low voltage electrical systems and instrumentation design\t
Willingness and ability to visit other plants in the local area as needed each week to work directly with those project teams for design and walkdowns\t
Willingness and ability to do some light scoping and estimating work on the front end and some quality control duties during the construction phase of the project\t
Must be self-motivated, results oriented, and be flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment
