Job Summary
Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of Passenger and/or Cargo operations.
Responsibilities
Supervises all shift and ongoing activities related to Passenger and/or Cargo operations.
Monitors the quantity and quality of work performance of assigned personnel.
Directs personnel within assigned functional area.
Oversees and advises on staffing needs for appropriate coverage.
Participates in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates.
Ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements.
Maybe required to communicate with Airport Board officials and individual customers.
Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards.
Maintains and controls all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA requirements.
Ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations and contractual agreements.
Reads, understands and clarifies the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge.
Administers practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.
Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
