Are you a talented and experienced Senior Project Toxicologist with prior experience in late-stage clinical development and global marketing? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Regulatory Toxicology and Safety Pharmacology team. You will be working on a range of marketed products and compounds in clinical development across multiple therapy areas. This role is based at one of our vibrant R&D sites in either Waltham, MA or Gaithersburg, MD.
Accountabilities:
As a core member of the project team, you will design regulatory and investigative toxicology strategies to assess and mitigate safety risks on projects to progress clinical candidates through development and global marketing. You will communicate clear positions on integrated risk assessments, inform decision-making governance bodies, author/defend regulatory submissions, and coach others through the process of global marketing applications and regulatory defence. You will also maintain expertise in regulatory requirements and preclinical safety approaches, and provide specialist non-clinical safety expertise for evaluation of in-licensing opportunities.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Excellent scientist with a PhD and/or DABT in Biology, Toxicology, Pharmacology or related field
Extensive experience working as a Project Toxicologist across different therapy areas within the pharmaceutical/biotech project environment delivering pre-clinical toxicology packages and successful marketing for a range of modalities which should include small molecules, peptides and oligonucleotides
A collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to solve problems in a goal-focused fashion with capacity to coordinate tasks across multiple projects
A proven track record as a successful coach/mentor of others
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills across levels/subject areas with a strong desire to drive personal development
Experience and desire to work with teams across geographies including awareness of inclusion and diversity
