If so, lets talk. The Assistant Contractor Special Security Officer (A/CSSO) position is required to support safeguarding of US classified information within IBM's Annapolis Junction SCIF facility.
This position if responsible for: Supporting the CSSO in development and implementation of security plans supporting SCIF operations, responding to after-hours alarms, maintaining physical access control systems, to include the production and maintenance of personnel and visitor badges, preparation and updating facility documentation to maintain SCIF accreditation and/or for IC customer security inspections (i.e.: Fixed Facility Checklists), providing security oversight and guidance to employees, on-site team personnel and subcontractors, documentation, investigation, and reporting security infractions, incidents, and violations, recording and monitoring access to the facility and controlled area, managing incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests, COMSEC custodian duties, performing duties as required in the clearance security information systems, conducting required security briefings and debriefings for IBM personnel, liaison with the customer’s security office and other customer/program management and contract partners, supporting periodic self-inspections of security programs and classified inventories, preparing for annual security inspections, documenting and maintaining all classified material for inventory and historical purposes, guiding and training IBM employees on security policies and procedures governing the facility and contract, conducting security interviews and physical inspections, and supporting all aspects of industrial security programs in compliance with the 32 CFR, Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s) and other applicable government security policies and procedures.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
5+ years' experience with industrial security in support of Intelligence Community and DoD programs.
Experience with COMSEC accounts.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Familiarity/working knowledge with the following is highly desired: National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) ; ICD 705, and Defense Information Security System (DISS) Database.
