Job Summary
The position of Assistant Principal - Special Education is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the Special Education operations, activities, and services in Hawthorne School District. This position is responsible for a wide range of management and administrative responsibilities necessary to provide instructional leadership, comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations, supervise assigned staff, establish appropriate relationships with the community and other agencies, and ensure effective special education programs. This position is designated as a certificated management position and reports directly to the Director of Special Education.
