Lead, mentor, and develop the manufacturing team to achieve production goals and maintain high standards of performance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, precision, safety, and teamwork.
Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to ensure efficient and timely completion of manufacturing targets.
Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reduce waste.
Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards and specifications through rigorous quality control procedures.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues and implement corrective actions.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and increase output.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of precision machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance teams to implement new technologies and upgrades.
Manage manufacturing resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize production.
Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Work closely with other departments, including engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth production processes.
Communicate effectively with senior management and provide regular updates on production status and challenges.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in the precision manufacturing sector.
Proven experience in leading and managing a production team.
Strong knowledge of precision manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools.
Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
