The Directory Sales Representative is responsible for the sales of print and online advertising products and services to local and area businesses to meet the financial goals of the Company. Growing profitable long-term advertising relationships with current active advertisers, developing new advertising relationships with currently inactive customers, and actively prospecting for new customers are keys to success. Focused one on one training and a supportive management team will help you hone your skills to not only hit the Company Sales Goal but exceed your own personal sales goals with no commission caps. This is mainly a remote position, with occasional travel required to our Headquarters for National Sales Meetings or any other pre-scheduled events.
Responsibilities:
Achieve the advertising revenue goals on a monthly and annual basis
Outbound Telesales
Hunter mentality in seeking out new business
Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop interest to stimulate opportunity
Creating marketing strategies for member base
Achieve daily call metrics consistently
Stable and consistent work history
Understanding of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook/email, Excel, Word)
Updating and working in our customer relationship management software (Salesforce)
Demonstrated high ethical conduct and standards
Telesales Experience
Strong organization skills
Successful experience working in a goal-oriented and results-driven organization
Ability to develop, launch and sell profitable advertising products and services for paper directory and online directories.
Strong customer needs-based selling skills
Ability to think and plan strategically
Ability to assist clients with timely and accurate financial analysis regarding advertising decisions
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent phone etiquette with professional phone voice
