About the Role
The Regional Site Supervisor is responsible for the efficient coordination of daily operations across a US region of PSI owned and operated test centers, ensuring a quality testing experience for our test takers and for delivering against key performance indicators of their region. Regional Site Supervisors also have formal people leadership responsibility for Test Center Administrator and Supervisor staff at their sites.
PSI owns and operates test centers around the country. Our test centers are open to members of the public, so it is essential for Regional Site Supervisors to have a flexible approach to working hours and arrangements. The role will often require attendance across test center opening hours, which vary site-to-site and may include late
evenings and weekends on occasion. This is a full-time, permanent role, and scheduled hours are typically Monday to Friday on either an 0800-1700, 0700-1600 or 0600-1500 basis, depending on the designated region. Up to 50% travel is associated with this role, as the post holder owns responsibility for multiple test center
locations in their region of the country.
Role Responsibilities
• Daily operations oversight of test center network within geographic region.
• Maintain relationships for both Owned & Operated and Partner test centers.
• Manage a virtual team and enforce staff adhere to all departmental, company safety/security policies and
protocols.
• Review and manage employee timecards and expense reports.
• Review, analyze and manage test center staffing levels; ensure adequate coverage and maximum site
utilization.
• Communicate openly with staff regarding performance, expectations and discipline when necessary.
• Conduct semi-annual and annual site visits and audits of each location (may require travel).
• Evaluate the training of staff, continuing education/recertification and create developmental opportunities
for the team.
• Analyze data to drive the decision-making process.
• Oversee the closing, opening and new expansion of existing test sites (staffing, setup, training, etc.).
• Assist with additional projects and assignments as needed.
• Investigate complaints and security incidents in a timely manner and keep appropriate departments
abreast.
• Work closely with Human Capital to aid Test Center Administrators.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
• High school diploma level of education is expected, bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proctoring experience or equivalent experience in a testing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of existing test center operations, examination administration (proctoring), and knowledge of
electronic fingerprinting procedures are all preferred.
• Experience in employee relations and/or Human Resources environments is also desirable.
• Project management experience is desirable.
• People leadership experience is desirable, including experience of managing remote employees.
Skills in Microsoft Office software are desirable.
