Job Description
The FA Service Group is searching for a Service Sales Consultant to join the Service team to support and grow the existing customer base in the West Region. The Service Sales Consultant will be responsible for the promotion of the FA Service offerings, have a familiarity with our older product families, and an understanding of how to apply new products successfully into current customer applications. The Service Sales Consultant will work closely with the customer through our sales channels in coordination with the Regional Sales, including our Distributor Sales, Resellers, Integrator network and Engineering Teams in recognizing the needs of the customer, promoting solutions, and making recommendations. To be successful, Service Sales Consultant will be responsible for developing a good rapport with customers while working with our sales network.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish rapport with new and existing customers
Evaluate the technical needs and opportunities of the customer and make appropriate service and product recommendations
Effectively communicate and explain complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable
Keep customers informed about new technologies and products
Follow up with customers on existing applications and opportunities
Assist the sales team in promoting technical solutions
Work with the engineering team to ensure customer project requirements are met
Work closely with Lohr, DE on service solution strategies
Help ensure that sales targets are consistently met
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently
Ability to work across multiple sales channels
Knowledge of Service Organization
Ability to evaluate customer applications and develop solutions to drive sales
