The Division of Anatomic Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Academic Surgical Pathologist with expertise in Renal Pathology to join our large and growing academic practice. The candidates will be expected to participate in general surgical pathology and/or cytopathology, as well as a focus on native and transplant renal biopsies. Mayo Clinic Florida is a major transplant center in the southeast region including, kidney, pancreas, liver, lung, heart, and bone marrow. Approximately 208 renal transplants and 900 renal biopsies are performed annually (80% transplant; 20% native). Additionally, about 400 native biopsy consults are received from clients in Florida and neighboring states. Physicians work in a multi-disciplinary environment with world renowned transplant teams providing the best care and novel therapeutic options for patients. The position includes an academic appointment with the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic.
