About FirstLine Schools
In 1998, FirstLine Schools started the first charter school in New Orleans. FirstLine now operates four K-8th grade
schools and a high school. Our mission is to create and inspire great open admissions public schools in New Orleans.

Position Summary:
The ISI Coordinator will work at one of FirstLine’s K-8 schools or our high school, where s/he will monitor the behavior of
students assigned to in-school suspension, conduct in-school suspension programs, and enforce established rules and
regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Monitors students who have been assigned to in-school suspension
- Checks attendance daily and reports to attendance clerk
- Explains expected conduct and achievement
- Assigns and checks student work during suspension periods; reviews student progress
- Discusses appropriate behavior with students
- Discusses behavior of students with administrators, teachers, and parents
- Monitors and reports inappropriate behavior by students to administration
- Monitors hallways before and after school
- Records and files records on students receiving after-school detention
- Holds after-school detention
- Maintains records on students receiving out-of-school suspensions
- Mails letters about suspensions to parents
- Performs other duties as required
Education & Experience:
? High School Diploma or GED minimum
? Experience working with children? in a disciplinary setting required
? High expectations for student behavior and the ability to enforce school culture with students who are struggling
? Willing to work in collaboration with Dean of Students to enforce school policies and procedure

Physical Requirements:
? While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear.
? Light lifting of equipment may be required (up to 20 lbs.)
