Sr. Social Worker Overview:
Under moderate supervision, the Senior Social Worker will provide support and assistance to clients of the Access Harris program. Individuals in this role will be responsible for serving as subject matter experts within the Coordinated Care Teams (CCT) and partnering with Access Harris as a liaison to assess adult clients and meet their identified needs using internal and external resources.
The Senior Social Worker is expected to possess knowledge of the issues related to the care and treatment of children, adults, or the elderly who have experienced abuse, neglect, or exploitation and be able to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Client Assessment: Conducts client assessments, contributes to care plan development, and identifies and connects participants with community resources that enhance their overall well-being.
Collaboration and Quality Improvement: Attends weekly CCT gatherings one to three times per week and serves as a subject matter expert in social services during sessions. This includes engaging in collaborative problem-solving for all participants discussed and communicating and coordinating with team members outside of meetings as necessary. Additionally, participates in quarterly quality improvement reviews and provides subject matter expertise on the development and improvement of Access Harris's case management technology.
Crisis Intervention and Advocacy: Provides immediate crisis intervention and support for participants facing acute psychosocial challenges. Also coordinates with crisis response teams and ensures timely access to appropriate resources and services. As well as advocating for participants within the mental health and healthcare systems and other relevant stakeholders ensuring access to appropriate services and resources to improve well-being. Additionally serves as liaison between clients and their families, state and judicial systems, and facility or treatment providers.
Leadership: Provides leadership and guidance to Social Workers and the Access Harris team. Also acts as a Subject Matter Expert in developing comprehensive assessments, structured service plans, and integrating services with the Access Harris Team to derive readable plans for clients.
Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintains accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting interventions, progress, and outcomes. Additionally, generates regular reports for internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of social work interventions.

Requirements
Education:
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW).
Experience:
Must have four (4) years of experience providing social services to children, adolescents, their families, or other vulnerable adults.
Training and experience using a personal computer with a variety of software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Case Management Software.
Licensure:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license (Texas) and auto liability insurance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrate cultural competence in providing services to diverse populations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of the issues related to the care and treatment of children, adults, or the elderly who have experienced abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
Skilled in understanding family systems, addictive behaviors, human development, and/or mental illness.
Demonstrate understanding of the rules and regulations surrounding confidentiality.
Possess skills to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to advocate for clients and connect them to appropriate resources and services.

This is a full-time position with the typical work hours of Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required based on the specific needs and demands of the department.
Salary:
$62,857.60-$72,800.00 (Annually)
