In this role, you will operate the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine and review identified defects for accuracy. Location: Moorpark, CA full-time: $24.00 - 28.00/hr (DOE) This is a fulltime, temp-to-hire position Schedule: Tue-Fri 12.00 PM - 10.30 PM (2nd shift) (4/10 schedule), Sat-Mon off The company offers extensive benefits
Responsibilities:
Review AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of SMT paste, component placement and solder joint defects.
Load programs per documentation.
Using magnification aids and stereomicroscopes inspect populated printed circuit boards and identify component misplacement and solder defects to IPC-A-610 standards.
Have the ability to recognize problems in the operation process or with components and to highlight and communicate those problems for immediate correction.
Understand follow and adhere to the quality process stated in our Quality Manual.
Operator will regularly aid in 3D AOI programming.
Requirements:
Quality control and part identification experience.
Successful completion of ESD Safety training and experience.
Must exhibit knowledge and/or skill in operating equipment used in the area.
Soldering experience toward IPC-J-STD-001 is helpful.
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Have the ability to sit, stand for the majority of the day.
Must be able to read and understand routers, assembly drawings, component identification and component polarity.
Have basic PC knowledge.
