What will you be doing in this role?
The Linen Services Technician is responsible for storing, inventorying, issuing, distributing, and collecting uniforms, bed, patient, table linens across the organization and support locations for patients and ancillary services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Collects, distributes, separates, and provides sufficient number of items of clean linen and uniforms.
Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness and serviceability before distribution.
Stores laundered items on shelves to established par level and records items distributed.
Tracks and assembles laundered items on cart or linen truck, provisions sufficient linens and uniforms to fill requisitions and transports carts to patient floors.
Tracks linen products to identify items for replacement, replenishment of par level, and maintains linen room in clean and orderly condition.
Collects soiled linens throughout campus and support locations.
Supplies clean and collect soiled scrubs / coats from scrubEx unit and program units.
Communicates with customers, makes contact on a routine basis and works closely with lead and supervisor to improve customer service. Responds to request in timely manner.

Qualifications
Work Experience:
One (1) year of Linen or Housekeeping/EVS/Cleaning experience in a hospital, school or hotel setting preferred.
