With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add a Maintenance Technician Level III to our dynamic Newark, New Jersey team.
Scope of Work:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing skilled maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery, equipment, and facilities in a large-scale environment. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently to ensure the efficient operation of all machinery and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment according to schedules.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools.
Install new machinery and equipment as needed.
Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Document maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance technicians.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician III or similar role in a Facilities Environment.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and techniques.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
