Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and analyze using hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) modeling

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology; Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred
5+ years of related experience
Professional Engineer (P.E.); will also consider allied professional with stormwater and/or stream design experience
Experience in any or all of the following: H&H modeling, floodplain analysis, shoreline/coastal resilience, dam design, scour analysis, riverine hydraulic analysis, hydrologic modeling and calculations; CLOMR, LOMR, stormwater management design, stream relocation, and the permitting and approval process
Competence in HEC-RAS 1D ,HEC-RAS 2D, SMS or similar software modeling
Project Management skills in water resource design from concept through construction, including achieving milestones and deadlines, proposal creation, and invoicing
Competence in client relationship and meeting facilitation
Ability to lead a team and mentor junior staff
Proficiency in the use of software for hydrology, hydraulics, drafting, presentation, and routine office administrative tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willing and able to travel occasionally and work overtime
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
