Position Summary:
Responsible for IT support for the Solon R&D Site as well as supporting the delivery of digital learning experiences within our organization. Provides technical assistance and effective support related to IT systems such as computer hardware, software, printers, phones, video conferencing and networks. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the creation and seamless execution of digital learning initiatives.
Responsibilities:
IT Customer Support:
- Provide timely technical support to end-users via phone, email, Teams, or in-person.
- Manage and prioritize multiple support requests, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and delivering excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and escalate problems when necessary.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve issues and coordinate repairs or replacements.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Maintain phone systems operations (Teams and cell phones).
- Keep accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
- Ensure the best service at the lowest cost while prioritizing end-user satisfaction.
- Assist project teams in developing IT solutions.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Learning System Management and Logistical Support:
- Coordinate the creation and rollout of digital training, aligning with overall learning plans and requirements for client groups.
- Assist in administering the Learning Management System (LMS), including making courses available, scheduling, and tracking completion.
- Generate reports as needed, respond to audit requests, troubleshoot errors, and provide tier 2 support to other operating companies and functional partners.
- Respond promptly and confidentially to audit requests for training-related information.
Job Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems or related Technology discipline.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with relevant system software, including Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Office, Adobe Connect, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience working with an industry-standard LMS is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build reports that illustrate relevant information in an easily understood format.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage peer and client relationships, with good interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with associates at all organizational levels.
- Attention to detail, with a keen eye for maintaining accurate records and ensuring the quality of learning materials.
- Flexibility and adaptability to the changing demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, with the ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and make sound decisions.
