Responsibilities: | The School of Jazz & Contemporary Music at the College of Performing Arts seeks a highly motivated student to serve as Digital Radio Station, Student Assistant Specialist. We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual with DAW skills to support initiatives within the College of Performing Arts Radio Station. This position reports to the Manager of Operations, School of Jazz & Contemporary Music and is an ideal position for students who are interested in a career in the audio production field.
This position is open to student applicants with Federal Work Study awards, as well as student applicants without a Federal Work Study award.

Work Mode: On-Campus Position
Hourly Rate: $16.00 – $21.00 per hour
Hours per Week: 3-5
Responsibilities: - Prepare student and faculty recordings produced at the SJCM for broadcast
- Edit, assemble, mix, and master content for pre-recorded content for the station
- Assist in the production of live and pre-recorded content for the station
- Other activities related to the upkeep and management of the content of the station

Minimum Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: - Audio production skills in the use of a DAW, signal processing, and live recording
- Skills in file management
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: | Preferred Qualifications: - Recipient of Federal Work Study award
- Current student in a College of Performing Arts degree program
