The BI Analytic Server powers Oracle’s Business Intelligence suite and is embedded within various vertical Oracle applications, like financials, planning and budgeting; which use advanced statistical analytics and forecasting. Our customers demand a product that allows easy, fast navigation through enormous data warehouses and data marts. The BI Analytic Server is the fundamental foundation that enables Oracle's Business Intelligence applications. The BI platform is essentially a federated database. It enables Business applications to query (distributed joins) data from multiple heterogeneous systems (Relational DBMS, OLAP Cubes, Spreadsheets, Web Services) and perform advanced (analytical, statistical, spatial etc.) business analytics. Some of the current project initiatives include – 1) Self-service BI enabling any user to upload private data for analysis 2) Federated access to Data Mining Engines like Oracle’s R engine and big data sources like Hadoop, Impala and Spark 3) Spreadsheet style analytics 4) Forecasting and predictive model building 5) Massive In-memory analyses that offers high-speed insight to data across all federated sources 6) BI appliances to explore targeted hardware/software confluence 7) Cloud-based analytics 8) Improving the performance of our internal query execution engine using techniques like vector processing, columnar storage formats, eager group by 9) Statistical Inference for automatic data insights, etc.

Any time you conduct a search, the system shows you job matches, ranked by their Relevance Score (RS).
The score is calculated by a proprietary algorithm that uses Intelligent Machine Learning.
The Relevance Score tells you how well the job opportunity matches your search term or terms.
When not logged in, the system is limited to one search term. Scores for single term matches are usually lower.
When you register, log in, and set up multiple terms prioritized by importance, the jobs found for you will receive a much higher Relevance Score.
