Ideal candidates will have experience working on projects of at least a couple of stories tall, preferably excluding residential single-family housing or primarily tenant improvement projects. Job Duties: - Project size ranges from $10 to $35 million, focusing on all Class A high-rise and multi-story parking structures. - Projects are primarily located in LA, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.
Requirements: 1. Minimum 10 years of experience. 2. Strong understanding of scoping, buyout, cost control, and communication skills. 3. Fluency in Prolog and Converge is a plus.
Responsibilities: - Willingness to work as a Project Manager on either a Design-Build General Contracting Project or as a Project Manager on Structural Concrete Subcontractor projects. - Design-build projects will primarily focus on large parking structures or mid-size office buildings. - Concrete projects will encompass various structures such as high-rise towers, transportation and aviation facilities, parking structures, office buildings, higher education facilities, large multi-family podiums, government buildings, hotels, green energy projects, NASA, and military projects. - Oversight of self-performing structural concrete work as a Union Contractor. - Familiarity with computerized project management software. - Responsible for cost control, including reviewing weekly budgets for self-performed work with the project superintendent and reporting on project profit and loss, issues, events, and applications for payment, as well as managing the schedule. - Ability to write scopes for subcontracts and purchase orders. - Serve as the liaison between the project site, owner, GC, and the company. - Proficiency in reading and comprehending plans and specifications at a very detailed level. - Willingness to learn the company's project management processes. - Strong teamwork skills, with a hands-on approach to project management.
