Sinclair’s The National Desk is looking for an Operations Technician to join the morning operations team! This a great opportunity for someone looking to enhance their skill set in the Broadcast Operations field for a national show
Responsibilities:
Perform any production related duties as assigned including;
Teleprompter operation
Floor Directing
On-air graphics operation
Quality Control remote signals for on-air placement
General studio/control room upkeep, such as replacing microphone batteries and checking lights
Backup coding, once trained on Ross Overdrive Automation
Directing opportunity exists, once trained on Ross Overdrive Automation
Requirements:
Experience in Broadcast Operations preferable
Good listening skills and ability to follow direction???
Ability to give clear direction when floor directing
Good typing and spelling skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays
Self motivated. This job includes ample opportunity for growth, including familiarization with Ross Automation used to code and direct newscasts.
