Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard working hours
Overview: The role involves conducting various analyses and quality control tests on in-vitro veterinary/medical diagnostic devices, maintaining microbiological organisms, and collaborating with other departments to ensure quality and resource management. Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analyses on manufactured in-vitro veterinary and medical diagnostic devices.
Execute quality control testing and support laboratory research projects.
Collect data, interpret test results, and document findings appropriately.
Perform inspections of incoming materials, including visual inspections and bioload testing.
Communicate with other departments to address quality and resource necessities.
Maintain microbiological organisms, including cryopreservation and stock culture management.
Stay informed of issues related to microbiological organisms and quality control processes.
Review and contribute to the ongoing improvement of laboratory quality processes and control materials.
Occasionally perform maintenance on laboratory equipment and quality control materials.
Prepare microbiological media as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience with GLP and working with pathogenic microorganisms
HS diploma with 2+ years of experience, BS in Biology or related field preferred
