Job Description:
The Regional Sales Manager role is to drive revenue and profitability for all group and private events at their assigned venue(s) in the Houston Area including ShowBiz Cinemas Baytown, ShowBiz Cinemas Fall Creek, ShowBiz Cinemas Kingwood, and ShowBiz Cinemas Liberty Lakes. This role helps ensure all sales events deliver the highest level of guest & partner satisfaction and are well aligned to our brand guidelines.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Develops and executes sales programs to achieve stated objectives for revenue, profitability and market share
Acts as the closer of large inbound sales leads and outbound sales opportunities
Fosters relationships to build the outbound sales pipeline leads for events with local and nationwide partners
Leads the planning of group and private event via sales at their assigned venue(s) (e.g. private screenings, corporate events, birthday parties, etc.)
Travels to events and venues as needed to meet with current and prospective clients and ensure the highest quality events
Addresses and resolves guests issues, in conjunction with Operational partners
Supports and maintains team processes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all venues
Owns the tracking and reconciliation of all event sales reports for their respective venues in the sales system (e.g. Tripleseat)
Assists Head of Sales with special projects as assigned
Skills + Abilities included but not limited to:
Strong negotiation and sales skills
Skilled at building relationships and fostering long-term partnership opportunities
Able to manage sales and marketing metrics for reporting & recapping
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong math skills and able to calculate figures and amounts like discounts, percentages, etc.
Experience creating & maintaining run of show processes
Highly detailed oriented & able to synthesize complex information
Able to problem solve and work with clients to meet needs as they arise
Able to work cross-functionally to achieve business goals
Deadline driven and action-oriented
Thrives in ambiguous, never-been-done before atmospheres
Self-starter and able to work independently and as a part of a team
Education + Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant event sales experience, preferably in the entertainment and hospitality space
Bachelor of Business Administration or related field
