Summary
The Recruitment Coordinator has primary administrative management responsibility for external grant projects operated by the Division of Social Work, Office of Field Education (OFE). Working under the direction of the Director of the Office of Field Education, the Recruitment Coordinator leads the development and management of grant-funded activities and ensures compliance with Federal and State reporting requirements. This is a grant-funded position. Employment in this position is contingent upon continued funding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage and conduct recruitment activities that facilitate the recruitment of individuals of diverse backgrounds for social work pathways into school-based licensed mental health (SBLMH) Provider careers, including student internships and full-time employment as licensed mental health counselors.
Recruitment into the Social Work Program at CBU. The recruitment effort will include students at the Master of Social Worker (MSW) level and the final year of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) level, and it will focus on recruiting students into SBMH provider and SBMH intern positions within specified partner districts.
Coordinate visits to MSW and BSW courses of students in their final year to make them aware of the upcoming positions.
Facilitate annual RCWC recruitment event.
Compose email correspondence to students alerting them to the opportunity to work with partner districts as school mental health professionals each semester.
Outline the pathway through two-year degree programs that connect to four-year educational opportunities for students interested in social work and counseling.
Collaborate with RCOERCWC Coordinator on Fall School Mental Health Counseling recruitment events at each district partner high school; including classroom visitations and working with PPS school counselors to meet directly with interested students.
Collaborate with RCOERCWC Coordinator on Fall and Spring email campaigns with partner high school students to alert all students to the possibility of working as a SBMH provider.
Collaborate with RCOERCWC Coordinator to facilitate a college visit to the Social Work Program at CBU, including a campus tour, social work class visits, and speaking with current college students.
Collaborate with RCOERCWC Coordinator on the annual recruitment reception that focuses on the pathway to becoming a school-based licensed mental health provider for school counseling students, undergraduate psychology majors, and those who express interest in helping professions at CBU.
Maintains and assists the OFE in compliance with University, Division, and CSWE standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for daily electronic timekeeping as it applies to the scope of this position.
Regular, punctual attendance as required by the supervisor based on division needs.
Manage grant evaluation and data-sharing activities as required by the grant.
Complete grant reporting (financial, human resources, professional development, recruitment, retention, program, etc.) as required by the grant.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
