Santa Clara High School is a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school located in Ventura County in the beautiful city of Oxnard. Santa Clara High School is committed to fostering an inclusive environment focused on spiritual, academic, emotional, and physical growth. Our purpose is to work as a community to guide and inspire our students in faith, family, and tradition.
The principal of Santa Clara High School is the chief administrator of the school and serves as its spiritual and educational leader. The Principal is responsible for exercising independent judgment in the implementation of a broad array of programs and functions. These responsibilities encompass the areas of spiritual development, realization of the school’s philosophy, curriculum, co-curricular activities, fiscal policies, discipline, personnel practices, school plant, and marketing and community relations. In fulfilling this role, the Principal is directly responsible to the Regional Superintendent.

- Experience in instructional leadership, curriculum development, teacher supervision, and effective instruction

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledgeable and practicing Catholic
- Earned Master’s Degree OR State Approved Teaching Credential (degrees in School Administration preferable)
- Minimum 3 years successful Admin in a Catholic High School or 3 years working at a Non-Profit Organization (5 years experience preferable)

SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary commensurate with education and experience. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles offers health benefits including medical, dental, and vision and all employees are enrolled in pension benefits from the time of employment and considered vested after five years of full-time employment.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
