Job Summary
Under the supervision of Career Technical Education and High School Administration, the
Public Safety instructor provides rigorous and relevant instruction aligned to industry and state
standards in order for all students to graduate with 21st Century college and career ready skills.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching
Credential with a designated subject in Public Services, OR a Recommendation
Letter from an approved Local Education Agency.
-Possession of a valid California driver’s license
-Possession of a Bachelor’s degree
-Passage of CBEST and/or District Proficiency required (To be scheduled if not
completed)
