PRIMARY PURPOSE:
AHF Products has a great career opportunity for a Cash Applications Supervisor at our headquarters in Mountville, Pa. As a Cash Applications Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading in the delivery of a well – controlled cash application and branch deposit and the billing reconciliation process. This role will also be responsible for the AR function for Big Box accounts and supervision of the Cash Applications team. This role will report to the Sr Credit and AR Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
- Responsible for ensuring all cash/payments received are applied in an accurate and timely manner for all ERP systems and brands
- Assist in having customers transition payments to proper bank accounts upon ERP conversions
- Ensure that general ledgers balance for cash application transactions
- Supervision of billing and payment reconciliations of all Studios branches. Work with team and branches to resolve discrepancies
- Supervise team on issuing misc. debits and credits to accounts, scanning of live checks/payments, and creation of fax/emailed payments, and retainage of back up support for payments
- Ensure all key responsibilities are documented for team
- Drive results for cashflow through diligent and aggressive monitoring of our BB customer accounts
- Assist department in improving working capital, our AR % current and DSO and minimizing bad debt
- Manage the Big Box accounts AR process by persistent collections, working with external customers and internal teams to keep % current high and minimize disputes
- Continual analysis on core issues and drive results to reduce losses to company
- Other duties as assigned
TRAVEL:
- Less than 5% travel expected
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Evidence of implementing process improvements and technology solutions
- Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal
- Proven proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong ability to multi-task and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in AR, credit, finance, or equivalent roles
- Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
- Positive and Verifiable Work History
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with M3
- Previous supervisory experience
