Job Summary
The Personnel Commission announces an OPEN and PROMOTIONAL recruitment. This recruitment will result in the establishment of one integrated eligibility list. Promotional candidates will have seniority points added to final passing scores (.25 of a point for every year of classified service up to a maximum of 5 points). This list will be used to fill current and future vacancies and will be active for one year or until cancelled. There is currently ONE positions open in the Grounds Department. This is an 8 hour/day, 12 month position.
The person we are seeking is a high-energy level individual who can bring proven managerial techniques and professional purchasing experience to the district.
AND
The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this classification would typically be acquired through any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to
graduation with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a field related to management, public works administration, construction, environmental studies or related field and four years of progressively responsible
experience in construction maintenance.

Ability to plan, organize, manage, and lead a variety of technical activities related to energy management and conservation; read, interpret, and apply provisions of Federal, State, and local regulations and statutes applicable to school facilities; analyze problems accurately and adopt an effective course of action; prepare long-term plans that enable the effective administration of energy conservation programs; estimate and forecast costs, analyze energy consumption, maintain budget accountability and cost controls.
