Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and modifications of the Warehouse Management System as well as acting as the local liaison between the Mainframe and Application Development departments. You will work closely with the Network/Telecom departments and the Technology Office to coordinate, troubleshoot and install physical infrastructure that supports the DC where applicable as well as oversee and approve entry of all moves / add / change requests
What you will do
- Must be flexible to work on call
- Work with all intelligent devices including Sortation Control Systems, Pick to Light, Tablet Picking.
- Coordinate all data backups and data recovery procedures.
- Liaison between warehouse facility, WMS vendor and MIS Department for problem resolution.
- Support of all data processing hardware including printers and terminals.
- Total support of LAN (Local Area Network) configuration.
- Implementation of all future releases of software
- Coordinate inventory tracking of in stock supplies including forms, ribbons, etc. and report usage to MIS.
- Supervise nonexempt staff.
- Maintenance of all control tables within the WMS including access security.
- Monitor the performance of the system application to ensure it is ready and available to all end users.
- Manage the peripheral interfaces with the WMS such as Neoware Terminals, RF Devices, and Printers.
- Manage and monitor end user access and rights and report to the SOX Compliance Department on a quarterly basis.
- Develop reporting tools for users to have better visibility into the WMS and Operating Metrics, whether via Crystal Reports or Cognos Report Studio
- Promote and reinforce safety and security awareness and compliance among the supervisory staff and hourly employee groups.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the DC Director
- Primary shift is first shift schedule. Must be flexible to work other shifts as business required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience within a distribution center and/or warehouse environment
- 2+ years of data analysis and system administration experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Solid working knowledge of all MS Operating Systems and MS Office applications
- Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Excellent writing skills, computer and application skills.
- Must be able to function in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bi-Lingual preferred
- 2+ years of technical and analytical experience with a production related industry.
- Solid working knowledge of Unix AIX and Unix SCO.
- Understand the requirements in writing SQL statements in Oracle.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and project management skill
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently
- Functional knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Working knowledge of business intelligence
- Familiarity with labor management standards
- Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to build high performance teams
Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
- Bachelor’s in computer science or other related technical field preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,900.00 - $117,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
