Under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor, provides basic, non-technical assistance to the welding program workshop, classrooms, and laboratories at the Simi Institute for Careers & Education.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience
Enrollment in the Simi Institute for Careers & Education welding program or equivalent recognized welding instructional program and successful completion of the welding classroom safety protocols test or equivalent welding safety examination
OR
Six months of experience working in an industry which provides familiarity with basic welding and shop safety

PURPOSE
To establish a list of eligible candidates that will be used to fill current and future vacancies (part-time) for the duration of the list, up to one year.
