We are looking tofill the newly created position of Senior Counsel for Data Privacy andArtificial Intelligence. The positionwill report to the U.S. Chief Regulatory Counsel and work collaboratively withthe U.S. and Global Data Privacy Officer and the global data privacy team.
This role will beremote, with work-from-home flexibility with the expectation of working withinthe Eastern Time Zone during regular business hours.
You’ll make adifference by assisting our global team in:
- Developingand implementing privacy and AI policies, procedures, and best practices tocomply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitoringchanges in privacy and AI-related laws, regulations, and business practices toensure continuing compliance.
- Proactivelycounsel various business stakeholders on data privacy and AI trends.
- Conductingprivacy legal reviews for new and evolving products, services, apps, and marketexpansions.
- Assessing legal risks associated with data collection,processing, and AI deployment.
- Providing expertise intechnology-related matters, such as digital marketing, analytics, and cookiegovernance, to inform and guide privacy and AI-related decisions andstrategies.
- Assessingdata privacy risks associated with B2C business operations and developstrategies and processes to mitigate risk.
- Draftingprivacy notices and polices for websites, e-commerce sites, onlinemarketplaces, products, apps, and services.
- Assisting with theprocessing of Data Subject Requests.
- Evaluating notificationrequirements and support responses to data breaches.
- Staying abreast of developments in AI law, includingethical considerations, bias mitigation, and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing and negotiate contracts related to data privacy,AI, and technology partnerships.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop andimplement data privacy and AI policies.
- Providing training on data privacy best practices and AIlegal implications.
You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Juris Doctoratefrom a U.S. accredited institution
- Licensed to practicelaw in one or more states
- Combined 8+ years of legal experience in a law firm or a corporate in-house position with afocus on data privacy.
- Active bar membership in one or more jurisdictions.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication skills in English
- Legally authorized to work in the UnitedStates without requiring employer sponsored work authorization now or in thefuture.

The pay range for this position is $133,000-$269,200.The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget andcandidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographiclocation.?
