Formal Education Required: a. Graduate of an A.M.A. or CoARC approved program for Respiratory Therapists (Registry eligible).
Experience and Training Required: a. Valid Ohio license (RCP) to practice Respiratory Care, granted by the State Medical Board of Ohio. b. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) & obtain RRT within 120 days of employment (start date).
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: a. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. b. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
