The anticipated duration of this assignment is 6 months.
Submit work orders to Facilities Management for any building issues (i.e. heating, light bulbs, locks,etc). Provide back-support for other administrative staff. Provide support with event organization including booking hotel/flight reservations for faculty and visiting speakers. Assist faculty and staff in labs with complicated international express shipping. Coordinate and organize all aspects of seminars, journal clubs and workshops including roomassignment, catering, AV simulcast, etc.. Create and publish program brochures, fliers and event signage. Order research supplies for faculty/labs. Manage conference room reservations and boardroom planning. Attend and actively participate inregular team meetings. Assist with complex calendaring for faculty director and CAO. Assist with CV management of faculty members. Process my expense reimbursement requests. Assist with on site mail sorting and delivery weekly. Work with vendors on complicated lab orders and equipment purchasing. Assist with scheduling complex meetings involving multiple faculty. Create adhoc reports and excel spreadsheets as requested. Prefer someone who is familiar with bear buy and my expense as well as Connexus. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and professional communication required.
