Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) is a multi-asset class investing group that sits within the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. It designs and develops comprehensive investment solutions customized to meet the investment objectives and relevant constraints of clients. These solutions bring together state-of-the-art techniques for multi-asset portfolio design and implementation and reflect proprietary research and analytics conducted by the MAS team. With investment professionals across the globe, MAS invests or advises on assets for some of the world’s leading corporations, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, governments, financial institutions, endowments, and foundations.
The MAS Operations Event Management team is a project management focused role, tasked with front to back management of portfolio implementations, changes, restructures, and terminations. The team works with Lead Portfolio Managers and other internal business teams to manage implementation of existing client portfolio investments and onboarding of new clients. This role is critical to coordinate implementation timelines and ensure execution across multiple teams. Core responsibilities include:

The candidate will be responsible for leading the Event Management team a role inclusive of a broad array of initiatives, including the following:
Coordinate, organize and lead implementation of investments into GSAM and external investment managers on behalf of current MAS Clients
Develop an understanding of a multi-asset class investment process, gaining experience in strategic asset allocation, as well as exposure to manager selection views
Understand structure of asset pool and work with internal partners on account set-up
Validate and capture of all trading documentation, liquidity provisions and portfolio parameters in order to design large scale trade plans
Collaborate with internal business groups, internal operations teams, external managers, custodian banks, and MAS clients to facilitate new investments into GSAM and external investment managers
Work with MAS Portfolio Managers and GSAM internal teams to coordinate MAS new client onboarding
Manage strategic projects in effort to streamline the investment implementation process and gain efficiency
Ensure compliance with established procedures; document new processes and procedures
Other required skills/experience:
Bachelor's degree required
7-10 years of professional experience, working within a Project Management or Onboarding function preferred
2+ years of people management experience
Strong project management skills including ability to organize and track multiple projects in parallel, delivery on tight timelines, and a hands-on approach to resolving issues
Must be able to handle multiple, complex tasks, prioritize effectively and be flexible as needs change
Excellent communication skills (including written, verbal, and presentation)
Highly organized, with attention-to-detail and excellent follow-through
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation
Ability to manage concurrent assignments in an effective and efficient manner
Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100,000-$235,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
