We are seeking a Signals Processing Engineer to join our team of passionate individuals. In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security and intelligence mission.
Responsible for designing and implementing DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Developed algorithms will be focuses on high throughput exploitation of signals, with and emphasis on low signal to noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations. Will conduct the necessary modifications to existing software and/or firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products to meet special Government needs.
Required Skills:
RF signals analysis
Demonstrated experience coding C/C and Python
Able to design, develop and implement systems within a Unix/Linux environment
Experience with message queue implementation/communication
Develops, tests, and implements digital signal processing algorithms for satellite communication systems.
Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and software engineers to integrate DSP software into overall system architecture.

Provides concise explanation of developed models to allow other team members to understand/utilize models or algorithms for processing signals of interest.
Acts as technology expert, directing implementation of sub-modules necessary for processing signals of interest.
Develops novel approaches for utilizing COTS and GOTS systems for creating processing solutions outside the intended use.
Designs and implements software models in conjunction with SME, in MATLAB or other similar design suite to process signals of interest.
Implements software modules necessary for processing signals of interest.
Provides analysis of module/model output from signals of interest to allow creation of follow-on processes.
Acts as a SME, independently designs and implements software models, in MATLAB or other similar design suite to process signals of interest.
Designs and implements software models in conjunction with SME, in MATLAB or other similar design suite to process signals of interest.
Implements software modules necessary for processing signals of interest.
Provides analysis of module/model output from signals of interest to allow creation of follow-on processes.
Clearance Required:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university is required.
Minimum Years of Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer is required. Five (5) years of additional DSP experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred:
Digital Signal Processing background with strong understanding of satellite communications system design and theory with implementation of concepts into software
Experience with DSP hardware and software development tools such as DSP processors, development kits, and IDEs
Experience with FPGA, microcontroller, or ASIC design
Familiarity with implementation and integration of SDR technologies into virtual (VMWare) and containerized (Docker/K8) environments.
Experience with Development Suites (MATLAB, X-Midas, etc.)
