Key job responsibilities - Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences. - Work closely with other engineers to architect and develop the best technical design. - Develop/maintain operational rigor for the frontend of a new AWS service. - Own and deliver key features within a new interactive ML application - Collaborate with other AWS SDEs for features that cut across AWS. - Engage with customers and other AWS partners.
About the team Amazon Q Business is a generative AIpowered assistant that can answer questions, provide summaries, generate content, and take actions, securely completing the tasks based on data and information in your enterprise systems. It empowers employees to be more creative, data-driven, efficient, prepared, and productive.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience - 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience - Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST - Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
