Plans and conducts research in one or more large and complex areas of specialization.
Reviews and manages progress of projects. Liaison with other areas of specialization to obtain support or technical expertise for projects.

Additional Job Duties:
Directs the technical operations of the laboratories, maintenance and upgrade of equipment, modification of facilities as needed and establishes new laboratory equipment.
Works with vendors of capital equipment to design, procure, repair, maintain equipment and directs associated installation and start up.
Manages all related safety and engineering projects as well as works closely with faculty, research scientists and students to meet associated research program goals.
Doctoral and 5 years experience
