Position Summary
Messiah University seeks a proven leader to direct the Collaboratory for Strategic Partnerships and Applied Research. The Collaboratory provides learning opportunities for students through engineering-focused projects that meet the needs of our partners in missions and partners serving under-privileged communities. The director will join the leadership team in the Department of Engineering to oversee all aspects of the Collaboratory, including donor development, strategic planning, day-to-day operations and curricular innovation.

Primary Duties
The director will:
Establish and lead a positive culture toward fulfillment of the Collaboratory mission,
Lead ongoing strategic planning in partnership with ENGR department leadership,
Coordinate program delivery across several engineering project sectors,
Plan and deliver discipleship and leadership development programming,
Facilitate external advisory and student leadership boards,
Manage Collaboratory budgets including operations, fundraising, and donor relations,
Supervise student leaders and work-study students, and
Travel internationally with student site teams and for project or donor development, following university protocols for risk management.
