Job Overview
Routinely serving more than 1500 J.D. students in hundreds of courses, the Program Coordinator for Experiential Learning is a key member of Georgetown Law's nationally recognized experiential education team.
Under the direction of the Assistant Dean, they assist the Assistant Dean and the Senior Director in the administration of non-clinical experiential learning courses, including the J.D. Externship Program, simulation courses (including compressed, weekend simulations and January’s Week One) and practicum courses (fieldwork and project-based).
They play a critical role in supporting all the office's initiatives, including effective, timely, professional collaboration with students, faculty and staff on all non-clinical experiential learning courses and programming; managing the office’s frequent communications; maintaining the website and online materials; processing payments and transactions related to the program; and assisting the Assistant Dean in monitoring the budget.
Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation
Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Experiential Education, the Program Coordinator works closely with the Senior Director for Experiential Education.
As well, they interact frequently with the Office’s many partner offices, including the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of the Registrar, the Office of Public Interest and Community Services, the Office of Career Strategy, the Office of the Dean of Students, Office of Graduate and International Programs, the Law Center’s Centers & Institutes, and Information Systems Technology.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience preferred
- Familiarity with Google Suite, including Docs, Sheets and Slides; Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and WordPress - preference for experience with Canvas, Box or similar platforms
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to focus on detail
- Ability to problem solve, take initiative and quickly adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of people and circumstances
- Demonstrated emotional maturity and the ability to exercise good judgment in a fast-paced, high-profile environment
