JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing clinical direction to & supervision of clinical activities, including licensed & unlicensed Master's level social work & marriage & family therapists &
professional clinical counselors & psychologists. In coordination with Departmental Managers, takes an active part of the planning, adoption, training, implementation & sustainability of evidence-based practices offered by staff therapists. Identifies & addresses all aspects of clinical improvement, quality of clinical services, expertise & competency of staff therapists & attaining positive clinical outcomes for client by working in conjunction with the administrative team. Responsible for individual & group clinical supervision of staff. Provides and/or coordinates pertinent clinical training of staff. Ensures appropriate client utilization of services. Participates in increasing client referrals, including marketing of services. Ensures therapists offer assessment-based services & evidence-based practices with fidelity to the models & ensure client
files reflect quality documentation in both assessment & charting.
MINIMUM QUALIFCATIONS:
Master's Degree
Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position
5 Years of Experience
Licensure in the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriagev& Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist
Meeting BBS requirements for clinical supervision of AMFT, ASW, and APCC required including 2 years' experience required post licensure and completion of Clinical Supervision training in State of California
Excellent clinical skills, proficient in at least one evidence-based treatment model and equipped to train and mentor in at least one evidence-based treatment practice.
Familiar with and commitment to remain up-to-date on relevant professional literature and research
Excellent clinical assessment skills and a commitment to the linkage between solid clinical assessment and quality treatment
Competence in training and mentoring using various child and family centered clinical modalities
Outstanding trainer and competent writer
Demonstrated skills in clinical training, consultation and guidance, and/or clinical supervisory experience. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain and manage caseload and competing demands, understands the importance of quality clinical practice and productivity expectations, complete records and reports in a timely manner
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
6 Years of Experience
Recent experience in providing treatment services and/or training in various modalities such as the TF-CBT, PCIT and/or CPP
Ability to train and mentor in at least two evidence-based practices
Active on the national level in professional activities associated with mental health treatment, with a focus on the population served by the program
Clinical administrative and management experience
Three years' experience providing clinical supervision
The expected hiring range for this position is $41.49 to $57.05
