The Supervisor - Licensed Stationary Engineer provides personnel administration and supervision to Licensed Stationary Engineers that results in a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors. As a successful candidate, you will:
Supervise and support Licensed Stationary Engineer staff. Maintain and prioritize the day-to-day functions ensuring work requests are completed in a timely manner.
Review alternatives with Project Administrator for upgrades and improvements to the campus infrastructure and new building construction. Technical input of the campus with regard to maintenance equipment purchases and provide alternative way to architects and engineers for equipment upgrades.
Review all submitted work requests delegating as necessary and responding to problematic call assuring all customers are satisfied. Provide safe, efficient cost-effective services to our customers, which is consistent with strategic plan and regulatory requirements.
Interact with other departments for information, vendors and outside agencies. Verify accurate pricing from contractors, customer service to other departments and local and state compliance.
Respond to campus wide disasters and promote “tribal knowledge” for subordinates. Restore systems and provide resolutions to any disaster resulting from a natural or system failure.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Graduate from post high school trade, business or professional school.
10 or more years of applicable craft(s) experience in operations of boiler & chillers. Including one (1) or more years of supervisory experience and two (2) or more years’ experience with Joint Commission and/or other regulatory agencies.
Current and valid Steam Engineer – Unlimited HP license.
Proficient on chillers operation.
Current and valid California Driver’s license.

Salary range: $90,654 - $151,393
