Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Sr. Physical Security Console Operator to join our dynamic team onsite in New York City. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the following: the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, the access control system, security records, key control, ID/access badge issue, physical security of the site, equipment dispatch accountability, electronic inventory accountability, and safety inspections. You will also provide supervisory oversight when the shift supervisors are away.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.
Responsibilities:
Security records keeping, key control, ID badge and access badge issue, physical security inspections of the site, equipment dispatch accountability, electronic equipment inventory, fire safety inspections, Daily Activity Report completion and historical log book review.
Responding to, evaluating, and resolving any event alarms received at the console monitoring station.
Conducting more specific inspections (fire safety, internal and external security perimeter inspections.) of Broadridge areas and providing a report of findings on these assigned tasks.
Keeping the Security Management Team abreast of all security matters and issues as they pertain to the site and performing additional duties as directed.
Although assigned a specific shift, must have the flexibility to work other shifts based on the needs of the Security Department.
Able to work from Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Must be flexible for occasional overtime and shift coverage as needed.
Must have flexibility. Must be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of three years of experience in the security field preferred (Military and/or Law Enforcement experience or the recommendation of the hiring manger can be substituted for "security field" experience). General shift supervisor experience will also be considered.
Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner, with both verbal and written communications
Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy is required
Ability to use personal computer, including, but not limited to, an intermediary level of the following: Typing, MS Excel and MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS TEAMS is required.
CPR qualified preferred
Salary range $20.00 - $20.75 hourly. Eligible for annual bonus.
