Director, Business Reporting & Analytics
Exciting Opportunity at MSK We are seeking a highly skilled experienced leader to lead our Business Reporting & Analytics Function focusing on data-driven Human Resources requirements and related initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, technology reporting & analytics platforms/products and project management, with a proven track record of leveraging data to inform decision-making at the executive level and middle management levels.
Role Overview:
Partner with the HR Leadership Team and IT Teams to manage technology reporting & analytics priorities and initiatives.
Develop and implement a comprehensive reporting and analytics technology strategy to support the HR Organization's goals and objectives.
Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for platform and architecture optimization.
Lead a team of technical analysts to ensure accurate and timely reporting, data visualization, and actionable insights.
Collaborate with HR, Business Informatics and IT cross-functional teams to define and develop reporting and analytics solutions supporting HR, Employee Health Services and Finance, including defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and establishing data governance processes.
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and tools, leveraging technology to increase efficiency, accuracy and speed to deliver.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics, especially Workday, leveraging worksheets and discover boards and recommending innovative solutions to enhance decision-making capabilities.
Experience leveraging Workday reporting tools like Drive (Discovery Board, Worksheets, slides) and Dashboards to modern reporting and speed up access.
Key Qualifications:
10+ plus years of progressive experience in reporting & analytics with a focus on HR and Finance, with a proven track record of success in data analysis and reporting.
A solid understanding of HR Technology Platforms with specific experience in Workday and Prism Analytics.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Experience leveraging Workday reporting tools like Drive (Discovery Board, Worksheets, slides) and Dashboards to modern reporting and speed up access.
Experience working in a multi-platform architecture involving complex integrations and ability to navigate data access to assemble reporting solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Core Skills:
Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Experience managing a team of analysts, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable technical recommendations.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

Hybrid Schedule: Flexibility to be at MSK’s New York City sites for collaborative meetings & projects.
Pay Range: $178,200 - $293,900
